Frank Welch
Sunday: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM
Saturday: 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM

Weekends

Bio: It’s not often that a career in cross-country trucking leads to a career in radio – but that’s how it happened to Frank Welch. “It’s true,” he says. “I was listening to a lot of radio stations while driving around the country. My though was, ‘I could do better than that!’ so I jumped into it.” Today, Frank’s definition of “drive time” has changed. The road to his current Stardust stint wound its way through a variety of radio stations including Dallas stations KCDU-FM, KLUB-FM and KVIL-FM. “I’ve done basically every on-air job you can do: jock, studio news reporter, street reporter, traffic reporter, sports reporter and more.” These experiences have brought Frank news honors, including the Dallas Press Club’s Katie Award and the Dallas U.P.I. Award. Frank believes he has an impact on his listeners because he genuinely enjoys his job. “I have a lot of fun on the air and I really believe that if you’re having fun at something, people respond positively to you.”

Debbie Douglas

Bio: Nights are Brighter with Debbie

Music Lover Debbie Douglas began her radio career in 1980 at a small radio station in South Texas, "I thought I was gonna be the next Barbara Walters", but soon found that news was not my passion...it was and still is music! I left there after just a year and began a long radio career in my hometown of San Antonio, Texas. I worked for the 100,000 watt blowtorch of South Texas, 99.5 KISS. I worked my way from overnights to Music Director and mid-days where I had a wonderful ride for 12 years! I also worked for KZ-100 (A/C) and KZEP (Classic Rock).

In the D/FW market I've worked at the classic rocker 92.5 KZPS (evening personality), KOAI (Smooth Jazz format), KKDL (dance format) and currently for ABC Radio Networks where I enjoy working with various formats, including “Timeless” and one that airs in Guatemala! So, as you can see, my music tastes are well rounded. I'm also a voice over talent and you may have even heard my voice while waiting "on hold" somewhere!

I like to travel and highly recommend Aspen, Co, Santa Fe, New Mexico, San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Also on the "fun list" is checking out movies, mixing my own CD's, enjoying a new wine or dark beer, fine dining, hanging out with friends, estate sales, softball, pedicures and massages! And of course spending time with my dog, Abita!

Favorite non-profit organizations include the SPCA, Operation Kindness, Susan G. Komen & Public television.

He may be the only Timeless Favorites DJ to have played percussion with a major symphony orchestra. The proud (and exhausted) father of two, husband of one, and pet owner of way too many, Bob is delighted to be part of the Timeless Favorites Family!
